Food
More than 182,000 Wisconsin
children face hunger each day. The WRF encourages REALTOR® members and local REALTOR® associations
to volunteer at their local food pantry, food bank, as well as other local food
related projects.
Feeding Wisconsin is the statewide
association of the Feeding America food banks that sources, warehouses and
provides food to over 750 affiliated agencies and 1,000 local food programs
throughout the state. Since our 2018 partnership with Feeding Wisconsin, the
WRF raised more than 1 million meals.

Shelter
Safe housing is essential for
children's well-being, development, and future success. It provides a nurturing
environment where children can thrive emotionally, academically, socially, and
physically, laying the groundwork for a healthy and prosperous life. Ensuring
access to safe and stable housing for all children is not only a moral
imperative but also a critical investment in the future of our communities.
The WRF
encourages associations and members to volunteer at their local shelters or Habitat
for Humanity chapters to help provide the essential resources. Habitat for Humanity is a global
nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe, decent, and affordable
housing for people in need. In 2023, the WRF donated $30,000 to
Wisconsin’s’ Habitat for Humanity.
Community
The WRF provides financial support
for relief efforts in response to natural disasters in Wisconsin. The WRF segregates
a certain amount of funds raised through voluntary contributions on membership
renewal dues forms to aid those impacted by natural disasters in Wisconsin.
